Dan Gerber is a visual artist and photographer based in the St. Croix river valley of Minnesota. Dan has worked in the photographic industry since graduating art school with a BFA in photography. His work within the industry has ranged from software and hardware testing of large format digital printers, to testing photographic workflow software applications. For the past fifteen years, Dan has been a member of the Adobe Lightroom development team. Dan has taught basic Lightroom intro workshops, conducted customer visits, and has represented the Lightroom team at trade shows and photo industry events. Dan is also a co-founder of the Visual Conservancy photographic group.
Crista Dix is the Founder and Director of wall space creative. With a background in science, business and creative arts, Ms. Dix created a gallery space that celebrates the artists’ vision. The gallery, based in Santa Barbara, is focused on work that intersects art and science, emphasizing the objectness of photography. Ms. Dix has written essays about photography, introducing creative artists work to a broader community. She has been a member of numerous panels and discussions, juried creative competitions and has participated in major portfolio reviews across the country in cities like Houston, Portland, Los Angeles, Santa Fe, Chicago and New Orleans.
Carl Corey is a Guggenheim Fellow in Photography and the recipient of over 100 awards from the photography and publishing communities including National INDIE Book Publishers Best Photography Book, The Crystal Book Award, Midwest Publishers Gold Book Award, New York Art Directors Club, Communication Arts, Print Annual and USA National Best Book Awards.. Carl’s work has been featured in many of photography’s most prestigious periodicals, including Camera Work Bicentennial Edition, Communication Arts, Columbia Journalism Review and Visual Communication Quarterly. Corey’s photographs are in major collections worldwide. Carl is the co-founder of the Visual Conservancy.
